Út er komin platan IFE eftir Ife tolentino í samstarfi við Óskar Guðjónsson saxófónleikara. Hún inniheldur átta frumsamin lög eftir Ife sem samin voru á árunum 1983 til 2015 í Brasilíu, Englandi, Þýskalandi, Lúxemborg og Íslandi. Meðleikarar á plötunni eru, Eyþór Gunnarsson, Ómar Guðjónsson, Matthías Hemstock og Skúli Sverrisson. Óskar og Ife eiga tuttugu ára samstarfsferil að baki og hafa á þeim tíma komið víða fram á Íslandi.
Platan er tekin upp í Hljóðrita af Ívari Ragnarssyni og sá hann einnig um hljóðblöndun og jöfnun. Arnar Geir Ómarsson hannaði umslag og Spessi tók hina mögnuðu “cover” mynd.
Ife á að baki umfangsmikinn feril í Brasilíu þar sem hann hefur unnið með listamönnum eins og Naná Vasconcelos, João Donato, Toninho Horta, Nara Leão (Paulo Braga og Jaques Morelembaum trommuleikara og sellóleikara Tom Jobim) og margt fleira. Í Evrópu hefur hann unnið með John Parricelli, Ingrid Laubrock, Liam Noble, Julian Siegel, Steve Lodderog Phil Robson svo fátt eitt sé nefnt.
Óskar hefur víða komið við í íslensku tónlistarlífi. Hann hefur komið fram og hljóðritað með fjölmörgum íslenskum og erlendum tónlistarmönnum eins og Mezzoforte, Jim Black, Sören Dahl Jeppesen, Trygve Seim, Skúla Sverrissyni, Tómasi R. Einarssyni og ADHD.

After 21 years of collaboration, Ife Tolentino and Óskar Gudjónsson bring a second Brazilian album recorded in Iceland. They recorded 8 original Ife’s compositions written between 1983 and 2015 in Brazil, England, Germany, Luxembourg and Iceland. The guests are some of the best Icelandic musicians who brought their very special and unique touch. They are Eythór Gunnarsson, Ómar Gudjónsson, Matthías Hemstock and Skúli Sverrisson. The album was recorded in Hljóðriti by Ivar Ragnarsson and mixed by him. The cover picture is a fantastic work of Spessi and Arnar Geir Ómarsson so wonderfully put all the artwork together.
Ife has an extensive career in Brazil where he worked with artists such as Naná Vasconcelos, João Donato, Toninho Horta, Nara Leão (Tom Jobim’s drummer and cello player Paulo Braga and Jaques Morelembaum) and many more.

Óskar has been awarded 8 times by the “Icelandic Music Awards”. He has performed and recorded with a wide range of Icelandic and international musicians such as ADHD, Mezzoforte, Jim Black, Sören Dahl Jeppesen, Trygve Seim, Skúli Sverrisson and many more. He has recorded several albums as a solo artist or as a band member.
